Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 6 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup honey or any sweetener
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 4 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or low-fat milk

Baking time:-18 to 20 minutes.

Method

We begin by preparing our dough for the cinnamon bun. First, we will add egg yeast and milk with coconut oil to the bowl. Whisk it well. Now we will add dry ingredients like wheat flour and oats. Now we will mix the dough by adding milk and begin to knead well until it becomes smooth in texture and becomes less sticky. Now we will prepare small buns round shaped and use a roller pin to flatten each bun into a circle shape. Now we spread our honey and cinnamon mixture on the flat dough.

And we roll it in by folding the dough in a cylindrical shape.

After that, we fold the cylinder inside forming a bun. Folding it in a bun shape.

Now preheat oven to 180C/350 F for 15 minutes. Now we place them on a tray aligned with parchment paper. Place the buns and put them in the oven for 20 minutes. When they become light brown take them out.Now Enjoy them on your cheat days or give yourself a healthy treat. Serve with coffee or tea.
