Ingredients

FOR CRUST 8-inch

  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 80 gm butter
  • 1\2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Ingredients For Filling

  • 4 peaches, peeled and sliced, or you can use canned ones
  • 1/2cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Method

Prepare the crust by adding flour in a bowl with salt, baking powder, sugar, melted butter and knead with milk. Now take an 8-inch pizza pan and grease it well, and spread the kneaded dough on top of it by flattening it first with a rolling pin.

Press the sides against the pan to form a pie shape. Keep a small portion of the dough aside for the topping in the center.

Preheat the oven to 180 C/350F

Now prepare filling by adding peaches to a bowl with cinnamon powder, nutmeg, butter, sugar, and cornstarch and mix well. Now pour on the pizza crust and add the leftover dough in the centre by pressing it into a circular form.

Now bake it for 40 minutes. When the crust becomes golden brown, take it out. Enjoy it with tea or coffee, it just tastes amazing.
